Master NMEDA Certified Technician (NCT)
In recognition of the dedicated service and experience of our NMEDA Certified Technicians (NCT), the association has established an advanced level of certification—the Master NCT.
To be eligible to apply, candidates must provide:
- An unexpired NCT Certificate
- Proof of two cumulative years of full-time employment with a NMEDA dealer member.
Applicants must then meet the following requirements within one year of application acceptance in order to achieve the Master NCT certification:
- Proof of MSS hands-on training attendance within last two years or proof of completion within one year of Master NCT application acceptance
- Proof of Braun/VMI/Revability hands-on training attendance within last two years or proof of completion within one year of Master NCT application acceptance
- Proof of Powered Gas & Brake Secondary School training attendance within last two years or proof of completion within one year of Master NCT application acceptance
- Proof of four unexpired ASE electives A4 (Suspension and Steering), A5 (Brakes), A6 (Electrical/Electronic systems), and G1 (Automotive Maintenance and Repair)
