A new wheelchair-accessible taxi has opened its doors for riders in Fort St. John.
Energetic Taxi Cab has announced its newest accessible taxi is now operational and on the road. This comes after the company applied for a license to operate one in August of last year, before receiving overwhelming support from Fort St. John.
The new taxi is a 2025 Toyota Sienna outfitted with a wheelchair ramp in the back. According to the company, a second vehicle could be operational if the demand is high enough.
